Founder Jacques Boegli came from a long line of successful watchmakers and manufacturers spanning back to the early 18th century. Using the expertise of his ancestors, Boegli began manufacturing Swiss watches in 1991 and later rebranded to become Jacques Du Manoir in 1993.

For items listed as in stock,your order should be completed before 4:00pm (Monday-Friday) for us to despatch the same day or before 11:30am on Saturday for delivery Monday. Please note that all orders must pass our security policy before they are despatched and we must be able to take payment successfully, if this is not possible we will email or send an SMS with further instructions. For other items,a delivery estimate will be shown where possible. If we feel we are unable to adhere to the timescale after you place your order we will contact you to make you aware and allow you to change your order if necessary. Items will be sent by your chosen delivery method once they are back in stock and payment will not be taken until the items are despatched (NB. PayPal and Amazon orders are charged immediately).

Returns Policy

We aim for you to be absolutely delighted with your purchase and therefore offer you 30 days to change your mind on your purchase (excludes pre-owned watches). You may do this by using the form provided with your order or otherwise.

We will provide a refund of all payment received (not including delivery upgrades), usually within 48 hours of receipt of the product. This will be made to the original payment method. For most payment methods it will take 3-5 working days for this to show on your statement.

Please ensure items from your order are suitable before wearing as we are unable to accept items which have been worn under our returns policy.

For UK orders under $‌775.00, you may generate a free tracked and insured returns label on the Royal Mail website (opens in a new window). You can print this label and send it back at any local Post Office at no cost to yourself. It is also possible to have the label printed at Post Office using the QR code from the confirmation email.

Please retain the proof of postage receipt. Unfortunately we are unable to provide a refund of return postage for returns through other methods, so we recommend printing the free postage label provided. For orders over $‌775.00, please consult your receipt for details on how to return. For international returns, you will need to bear the cost of returns postage.

Please ensure the watch is returned to us in an unworn, new condition with all the original packaging (manufacturer’s manual and guarantee if applicable). Please ensure items from your order are suitable before wearing as we are unable to accept items which have been worn under our returns policy. We reserve the right to make deductions for unnecessary damage caused to the product by yourself.

We are also able to offer an exchange to a different product if required, please specify this when returning your product.

If a fault develops with a watch that is outside of the 30 day returns period or is no longer in a new condition the watch can be returned to the manufacturer under the terms of the guarantee (we are an official UK dealer for all brands on our website) so that they can rectify any issues. A Brief History of Jacques Du Manoir

Founded by Jacques Boegli in 1993, the brand’s roots trace back to a long-standing tradition of excellence deeply ingrained in Swiss horology. The journey began in 1904, when Jacques’ grandfather, Louis Schwab, established a watch company in Moutier, Switzerland. At the same time, Benjamin Boegli, a relative of the Scwab family, ventured into the production of watch dials.

Over the years, the family’s commitment to craftsmanship flourished, culminating when Benjamin was succeeded by his son, Jacques. Not long after taking over his father’s business, Jacques decided to honour his grandfather’s legacy towards watch production. In 1991, Boegeli launched the inaugural “B-Watch” collection.

This milestone moment began the brand’s pivot towards producing complete timepieces. Building on the success of the “B-Watch,” Jacques du Manoir emerged as the official successor to the subsidiary two years later, solidifying its position as a leading player in the Swiss watchmaking landscape. In 2018, Jacques du Manoir changed ownership, with Christian Frommherz acquiring the brand. Despite this transition, the brand’s core values remained steadfast, as evidenced by the retention of the stylised “B” emblem—a poignant homage to its storied heritage.
